Bible Studies

The Church of the Holy Faith offers numerous opportunities for the study of God’s Word.

In addition to the Adult Forum on Sunday mornings at 10:00 there will be many opportunities for Christian formation at Holy Faith this year:

New Program – On Tuesday mornings beginning September 21, Father Semon will begin Prayer and Meditation on the Imitation of Christ, at10:00 am in the Campbell Room.

Tuesday Evening Bible Study
Father Norman will leads a Tuesday evening study at 7:15 pm, right after the Taizé service. In August he will begin Surprised by Hope, six faith inspiring sessions based on the book by N.T. Wright about what the Bible teaches us about Heaven.

Wednesday Men’s Study
Each Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 pm, Father Semon leads a Men’s Bible study of the Book of the Prophet Isaiah, in the Campbell Room. Please join us, and bring your Bibles!

Thursday Women’s Study
The Thursday Women’s Bible Study meets Thursdays at 10:00 a.m., in the Kinsolving Room. Father Semon is the leader/facilitatorof this study the Book of the Prophet Isaiah. We will not use study guides, so just bring your Bibles! Please call Suzanne Spivey at 983-1366 for more information.

Friday Men’s Study
Meets each Friday morning at 7:00 am at Baglemania, 420 Catron Street. Bring your Bible to this study of the readings for the coming Sunday.

Inquirer’s Class (Confirmation)

Are you interested in confirming your faith? In October Father Semon will lead an Inquirer’s Class to prepare those wishing to affirm their baptismal vows as adults and join the Episcopal Church.

When: 
Friday, October 215, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, and Saturday, October 16, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Lunch will be served on Saturday. Please RSVP to Amy at 982-4447, ext. 105.

Where: The Adult Education Room.
