Worship Opportunities:
Join us for worship of our Lord at one of three services held each Sunday morning.
At 7:30 am we offer a simple service of Holy Eucharist without music in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd.
Then, at 8:30 and 11:00 am we offer services of Choral Eucharist in the Church. Hymns are sung at both Choral Eucharists, however there is an additional hymn and service music (sung chants and prayers) at the third service.
A nursery for infants and children through age 3 is available from 9:45 am through the 11:00 am service.
Children's Chapel takes place during the 11:00 am service. Children gather in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd at 10:45, and will be brought to their parents in the Church at the Sign of the Peace so they may join their families for Holy Communion.
Weekday Services
What is Taizé? The Taizé form of worship uses calming music and candlelight to promote an atmosphere of peaceful, meditative worship. Holy Faith's clergy, in collaboration with Fr. Masud Syedullah who visited here last December, have developed a Taizé style healing liturgy with Holy Eucharist which is offered every Tuesday evening at 6:00 in the church.
Taizé originated during World War II, in the town in France of the same name. What began as an effort by a Christian brother and sister team to hide and protect those fleeing the war, later developed into a brotherhood of men devoted to a common life of service and great simplicity. Taizé is their form of worship and one that many Christian churches world wide are adding to their service offerings. We hope you will join us in this gracious and beautiful worship of our Lord.
Holy Eucharist is also offered Wednesdays and Thursdays at 12:10 in the Chapel of the Good Shepherd.
The Church of the Holy Faith uses a traditional Anglo-Catholic style of worship following the Book of Common Prayer, Rite I.
