In Person and Live Streamed Worship Options
Urgent Message from Fr. Robin
We are temporarily ceasing in-person worship at Holy Faith this Sunday, October 25. In place of in-person worship, we will offer a livestream of a single 10:00 a.m. Sunday Eucharist.
While I know this will be disappointing to many, I believe it is the prudent thing to do at this time. The positive test rate for COVID-19 in Santa Fe County was reported on October 22, 2020 at 5.3%. The bishop strongly recommends that, if the positive test rate is at 5% or above, churches in the report area should cease in-person worship until the positive test rate drops below 5%. The bishop’s strong recommendation means that we must consider whether in-person worship is safe or appropriate – taking into consideration the risk profile of our congregants, our ability to hold outdoor services, our ability to fully abide by our Phase II workbook guidelines, and the comfort level of clergy officiating in those services. Because of the many variables, we can expect to be going back and forth from allowing in-person worship to suspending gatherings for the immediate future, so please read these weekly parish e-mails and consult frequently the Holy Faith website which will provide the most up-to-date information. I appreciate your understanding.
